It's Always Something

The never-ending saga of keeping up with the needs of a circa 1970's ranch in a Chesapeake Bay beach community in lovely Maryland.

Movin' Out

Not much home improvement going on... no photos.... I've decided to move in with my longtime boyfriend (finally)! It is a big change for me, since this is the only house I've ever lived in. But it is time. I'm not going far - only about 3 miles, and the house will be lived in by one of my sisters, so I can visit and use the beaches whenever I like.

I guess I'll keep the blog going. His house needs work too. I will change the photo in the header once I move in. I reckon "it's always something" there too.

Eventually, we are planning to sell his house, and buy a nice little hobby farm, where I can have a few chickens, and a couple of horses.

In non-house news, boyfriend adopted a 7 month old puppy form the SPCA, and my dog Cody loves her. She developed kennel cough a week later, and passed it on to Cody. A vet trip for each, and antibiotics, and each is as good as new.

PS - The remaining "UFO" fell out of the tree in the front yard this week. (See my last two posts). It's been there since last October. I'm glad it came down before I moved away.
