New Bath Faucet
Here's the faucet we got at Home Depot. A Moen, the Banbury model. I like that the spout swivels, like a kitchen faucet. That way if you want to wash something in the sink, you can move it out of the way.
So it was a simple installation, though the instructions have NO WORDS on them. Just pictograms. Ugh. But the inevitable punch line is that there is a leak. Several leaks. Not on the water supply. No. On the drain pipe, where the tailpiece meets the sink. I think the drain moved off center while I was tightening it, and the seal isn't good.
So, maybe tomorrow I will feel like laying in the cabinet again.
Also, good tip of the day... While working in the cabinet I lighted the area with my Coleman rechargeable fluorescent camping lantern! Plenty bright, long lasting, and stable. Gosh I'm brilliant.

Use some plumbers putty to eliminate your leak.
The tail pipe screws into the drain assembly nut in the bottom of the sink. Apply plumbers putty to the bottom side of this nut. Then screw the tail pipe into it from the bottom of the sink (in the cabinet area).
Also makes sure there is a large rubber washer sitting between the metal flange at the top of the tail pipe and the underside of the sink.
Tighten carefully with a pair of large channel lock pliers and your leak should be a thing of of the past.

Good luck with the leak, but the fixture is pretty. Nice that it swivels.
That swivel faucet is ingenious! I want it. I'm always hitting my head on the faucet when I wet my hair down. Good luck with the leak.
Those bath taps are so beautiful. It's great that different selections of bath faucets are now available online. You can even purchase it right at the comfort of your home.
